Three lives, one epic story. Find out how Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edison and Nicola Tesla changed the world we live in forever! Three men, three great minds and three completely different approaches to science. Find out how these men tamed the forces of science in order to share its power with the world. As their paths cross, a rivalry grows. The men who revolutionized the fields of light, sound and vision compete with each other to become the leading genius of the age.
"By focusing on the social and economic differences among Nikola Tesla, Alexander Graham Bell, and Thomas Edison, as well as their shared hunger for making monumental discoveries in electronics that could—and did—alter the modern world, the writer and the artist show plainly that an inventor’s creativity is but one ingredient in his or her achievements and that commercial success takes a toll on the inventor’s life outside the lab. . . Helfand’s solid research is a great jumping-off point for student researchers." — Francisca Goldsmith, Booklist
Lewis Helfand is a resident of Narberth, Pennsylvania and grew up wanting to write comic books.
