Thirty-one new projects by master Parisian interior designer Jacques Grange redefine his visionary talent.

Over the course of his fifty-year career, Jacques Grange has designed homes for the world’s most respected collectors, artists, designers, and tastemakers, including Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Bergé, François Pinault, Robert Agostinelli, Valentino, Israel Englander, Stavros Niarchos, Terry and Jean de Gunzburg, Lauren and Andres Santo Domingo, Aerin Lauder, Per Skarstedt, and HRH The Princess of Hanover. His classical training at Paris’s École Boulle and École Camondo, his early experience with the French design legend Henri Samuel, and his passion for contemporary art have resulted in a uniquely discerning approach to interior design. Grange’s seemingly natural, “non-designed” aesthetic is revealed through his unusual way of grouping objects, and an unparalleled sense of style and attention to detail.

This essential volume illustrates Grange’s wideranging inspirations and exquisite taste through thirty-one new residential projects in Europe and America, from a luxury hôtel particulier in Paris to a chic beachside cabana in Comporta, Portugal, and a midcentury-modern house in Los Angeles. Texts and interviews by Parisian gallerist Pierre Passebon delineate Grange’s approach to design and decoration. Previously unpublished photography by François Halard captures these singular projects with profound sensibility.
"His unique flair for combining elements from different time periods, cultural traditions, and decorative styles—often featuring an audacious color accent or striking work of art—into a uniquely harmonious ensemble. Contemporary works of art are given pride of place according to Grange’s undeniable f lair and collector’s eye, but, remarkably, Grange is not afraid to strip everything away to make space itself the focal point of a room." —DUJOUR.COM

"With more than 50 years of experience in the industry, French interior designer Jacques Grange has worked with some of the world's most celebrated tastemakers like Yves Saint Laurent, François Pinault, and Aerin Lauder. Grange has an extraordinary ability to create breathtaking vignettes and make artwork feel approachable within a home. This immersive volume highlights 31 new residential projects by Grange and his signature design aesthetic." —VERANDA.COM

"ELLE DECOR A-List designer Jacques Grange catches enthusiasts up on his most Recent Work, displaying 20 new residential projects that demonstrate his enviable style and coveted approach to decoration."  —ELLE DECOR

"From a private mansion in Paris to a penthouse inManhattan, the Parisian collector Pierre Passebon discusses the latest projects by his partner, one of today’s most fashionable interior designers." —FRANCE-AMERIQUE

"In sum, what did we learn from Jacques Grange? That the stories of interiors can move you in a magnetic ways, because each is an entire universe unto itself; that impeccable knowledge of the art market is key to crafting refined interiors of soul and depth; that the role of the designer is to be a charismatic leader, tastemaker, and educator; and that dreaming big is the key to fulfilling the dreams of others." —DANIELLAONDESIGN.COM
