Tom, the pig doesn't like his short and curly tail. He wants to wag his tail like Sam the sheepdog, or swish his tail like Henry the horse. With the help of some mud, Tom works on getting his tail to straighten out. After a sleepless night Tom goes outside to sleep and luckily, the rain washes away the mud on his tail, making it soft and curly again!
Linda Jennings has enjoyed writing since she was a child, but when she moved to London in the 1960's she started writing seriously - mostly about animals - from bears to cats, and anything furry on four legs! She now lives in York with an elderly, orange and white rescue cat named Rufus.

Storyteller Tim Warnes has been writing and illustrating kids' books for 25 years. He's passionate about helping parents and caregivers nurture their children through stories worth sharing. Tim also enjoys playing the banjo, birdwatching, and wearing fancy hats. Learn more about Tim's work and the world of picture books on his blog, My Life in Books: www.TimWarnes.com.
