It’s fun to spend a day with Mom. First graders can read this story on their own.

Mom pushes. I swing.
Mom hides. I seek.
I run. Mom chases.

Swinging at the park, getting faces painted at the art fair, buying veggies at the farmers’ market–and then back home to make soup for themselves and a special guest!

You’ll also enjoy the companion book, My Day with Dad.

The books in the award-winning I Like to Read® series build vocabulary and promote fluency, which are essential for reading success.  Acclaimed author-illustrators--including winners of Caldecott, Theodor Seuss Geisel, and Coretta Scott King honors—create original, high-quality books that are fun for kids to read again and again with their parents, teachers or on their own!
"There is much to look at, study, and enjoy in every spread."—School Library Journal

"A routine outing can be so much more when shared with a loved one."—Kirkus Reviews
