Sostenes B. Lima, LCSW, is a licensed therapist who specializes in working with trauma survivors. He holds a master’s degree in advanced clinical social work from Columbia University and a bachelor of science in psychology from Grand Canyon University. Sostenes has extensive training in psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy and incorporates trauma-focused therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic-based therapies into his practice. His integrative approach to therapy is tailored to meet each person’s needs in a warm, inviting, safe space where they can connect, process, and heal. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Sostenes immigrated to Miami, Florida, at the age of eight. As a mixed-race individual of Afro-Brazilian, Indigenous Brazilian, and Portuguese descent, he embodies a rich tapestry of cultural influences and maintains a profound appreciation for the diversity of human experiences. Erica Lima, LCSW, is a licensed therapist who special-izes in working with people who have experienced trauma and childhood neglect and who struggle with people-pleasing, perfectionism, relationship OCD, and more. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a master’s degree in social work from Arizona State University. Erica has received specialized training in Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Somatic Parts Work (IFS) with Level 3 Certification, Somatic Attachment Therapy, Hakomi therapy, and Cultural Somatics for Racial Equity. Her integrative approach is founded on a strength-based, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive perspective, acknowledging the impact of systemic oppression on marginalized communities, and prioritizing a safe, anti-discriminatory environment in therapy. She takes great care and values mutual trust in working with people of color. She also supports white individuals seeking to heal from internalized white supremacy.

Raised on the outskirts of Charlotte, North Carolina, Erica now cherishes the beauty of the vibrant city life. Her passion is to support those in the helping professions and others on a path to loving themselves more fully and cultivating genuine connections in their relationships.
