Emily Greenhalgh is an award-winning science journalist and the author of Fun with Oceans and Seas. Even as a kid, she never met a science fact she didn’t like. She grew up in Rhode Island staring into tide pools, flipping over logs to look at bugs, and counting shooting stars in the night sky. Emily trained to become a marine biologist and then a science journalist. Now she helps scientists tell their stories. From climate change and microbes to satellites and exoplanets, Emily loves turning complex science into easy-to-understand ideas. She has worked on commercial fishing boats, tagged sharks, and hiked in Antarctica. In her spare time, she writes speculative fiction, does pottery, and enjoys putting cheese on things. She lives on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with her husband, their two dogs, and one semi- tolerant cat. View titles by Emily Greenhalgh
