By combining good mental health and faith practices, Karin helps couples learn the complexity, creativity, and the importance of healthy and open communication in emotionally intelligent relationships.

Karin has been married for six years to her childhood best friend, Josh, to whom she attributes her real-world relationship knowledge and experience. Together they have made a home with a small clowder of cats (Rosie, Otto, and Ellie) along with one excitable and stubborn English bulldog named Winston. Karin is a self-described nerd and lifelong learner. When not wearing her “therapist hat,” Karin enjoys puzzles, board-game nights, learning obscure trivia, video games with immersive world-building, and movies of every genre.
