    Aubry G. Smith, CD and CBE (CBI), is a certified childbirth educator and birth doula who received her master’s in theological studies at Columbia International University. Passionate about the intersection of Biblical theology, spiritual formation, and the profound experience of childbirth, she is also the author of Holy Labor: How Childbirth Shapes a Woman’s Soul. Aubry also works for an international Christian nonprofit organization. Having spent five years in the Middle East training cross-cultural workers and offering birth services to expats, she and her husband now provide support services for refugees resettled in the United Kingdom.
